I really like your sunshine quilt. It put a smile on my face on this dark gloomy winter day in Oregon. I didn't know there was a rule not to use yellow until I read this post. Such a silly rule should be broken...Thank-you

Hallo Ihr beiden, bin nicht so aktiv bei HS24, aber nutze es relativ regelmig, um Dinge zu suchen und zu finden :-) Der Quilt ist supertoll geworden, meiner ist gerade in Warteschleife ... aber es geht bald weiter und dann stelle ich ihn ein. LG

I didn't know the yellow rule either until I read it here. My very first quilt top (about 2-3 months ago) was yellow and black; no one told me. Haha. Anyway, I love mine in yellow and I LOVE your quilt. It's super cute and fun. Great job.

Muschelsucher, the no yellow "rule" is another one of those quilt police thing that can be a topic of discussion. There are people that have rules that they want everyone to follow. It is there way of doing things and not what everyone needs to do. You quilt is wonderful!

Without the sashing there was to much movement and colors in the block
