I had to measure each piece and cut out the fabric before hand. The block was too big for me. I have paper pieced smaller blocks without any problem but was stymied by this one.Difficulty:

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Using a scant 1/4" - the first block was about 1/4" too big however, the second one was just barely there.
Measurements I used for
Block #1 - This works for A & B (all measurements are inches)
1 - 2.25 x 2.75
2 - 3 x 4
3 - background - 3.75 x 5.5
4 - 1.75 x 5.5
5 - 2.75 x 3
