What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I "cheated" and planned my strips to balance each other on the block. I used the same fabrics to begin each section (the two next to each other). I used the bright pink and bright yellow in the block and thought it best to scatter those colors within the block and not leave their placement to chance. It certainly turned out bright! Be sure to mark your fabric correctly so that you are sewing your first strip in each section in the same place. Mark that 1/4 inch on the correct side of the dot marks.
