Quilting Fabrics. The black fabric is from Kona... so far, most everything else is from my fabric stash.
What was your inspiration?
BOM Class... and a lot of fabric from 20-30 years ago!.
What are you most proud of?
Proud may be overstating, but I was tickled at how the black background made the fabrics POP! I'm still not sure if this is the quilt that will work in my mom's bedroom, (I've got plans to catch up with a white background with the Kona fabrics Amy is using ~ just in case!) but I'm happy with it so far.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Craftsy has done an excellent job in producing the Block of the Month. Amy demonstrates each block, so it's easy to do. I probably wouldn't try a full blown quilt otherwise, because the finishing seems over-whelming. But this class is giving me the confidence to give it a try
