What was your inspiration?

I love anything Americana, country. I thought of this as making the whole quilt in that type of style from my scraps. I used Kona white for my background and the flag material had been used in a Patriotic Rag Quilt I and my friends made for their family member.

What are you most proud of?

Learning new techniques. I started quilting 2 years ago and have finishedd 2 pieced quilts, one of which I donated to Union Bible College for a fund raiser. Again, my frineds and I all made quilts and donated them, I believe there were 5 quilts donated for the auction and they raised over $650.! We were so thrilled

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Enjoy yourselves and learn new things. Thank You Craftsy for making this available to us for free.
