What was your inspiration?

Amy's enthusiasm for passing on the knowledge and setting our minds in creative mode.

What are you most proud of?

This is the 2nd one I have hand stitched the quilting - more vintage style this time - also quilted it a block at a time then pieced the blocks together with sashing and added the border then binding

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Let your mind run free and create

Beautiful! A veritable rainbow! I wish I still had my auntie's 1930s treadle Singer - you've made a lovely job of this quilt and have shown that you don't need the latest electronic gizmo to make a work of art! Well done!

I use a 1930 Singer treadle machine and it does straight line quilting real good, but it is not so fussed on the free motion and luckily I really enjoy handsewing so I do the quilting that way unless just wanting straight line quilting
