I used Amy's style of flying geese but there are other methods, too. 1/4 inch seam allowance and matching points and seams are critical for overall result. I gave it four on difficulty because of that alone, Not really difficult but time consuming?

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Traditional

Materials

More of my cotton fat quarters with the dark burgundy print background fabric

I meant to add that the center star is actually from the same fabric. It had bands of floral separated by bands of paisley. I fussy cut each to get something I thought might be pleasing. Probably should have chosen something with a bit more contrast, but I was happy with the finished block.
