What materials did you use? Continued with the mix of cotton fat quarters, using my dark burgundy print as the background fabric. Not difficult so long as you keep to the scant 1/4 inch seams!

What are you most proud of? Actually did the scant seam allowance and came out with a square 12.5 inches without trimming.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Can't say it enough: Learn what it takes for you to do the scant 1/4 inch seam allowance! Saves so much grief!. However, if you miss it as you learn, my sister suggested stitching a border around the edge of the square in order to expand to the full size needed. That might work on some but not all. Practice, practice, practice. Try changing needle position if your machine allows.
