This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
Classic Cabled Cowl »

Instructions

What I found was that for some reason, I ended up with a line of knit on the cable side of the knitting, but was unsure how to correct it. You can see it in the photos, but I still like it though, for my first attempt.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

What was your inspiration?

My sister Sharyn had made it and I thought it looked quite easy and very stylish, except for her unsmily model, so I thought I would have a go myself.

What are you most proud of?

That I started getting addictive and ended up still knitting at midnight... and trust me, I'm not a night person

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I got a bit lost with the cable casting of the 5 stitches onto the third needle, but was set straight, but I did find the instruction somewhat confusing, however I am a real novice.

I love the side buttons! You'll be looking at cable patterns a whole new way!

Gorgeous - looks lovely well done. Nice smily model and a gorgeous calender in the background. What's next?
