What are you most proud of?

Knitted in-the-round, this seamless one-piece garment works up quickly. You'll start with larger needles than normal to achieve the softly draping outer portion of the easy 2-round herringbone lace stitch collar. The lace then decreases into a softly-ribbed inner collar on smaller needles. From there, a bit of short row shaping will raise the back neckline for a comfortable fit before proceeding again in-the-round to complete the short raglan yoke.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Treat yourself to a luxury yarn like Buffalo Gold Earth Lite (takes just one skein!); the bison down will feel like heavenly decadence.

One size fits all. 200 yards sport weight yarn. Suggested needles: US 7 / 4.5 mm for outer collar; US 6 / 4 mm for inner collar and raglan yoke. 5 stitches/inch using smaller needle. Written stitch instructions (no charts).
