I have used both sports weight and regular weight yarn. The regular weight makes a little larger boot.
What was your inspiration?
My grandma used to make these for all the babies born. When a friend of mine at work found out she was going to be a grandma I just couldn't resist making her a pair. It took a long time for me to find a free pattern for them but I am so glad I did.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
