What materials did you use? Prewashed calico; cotton wadding; machine embroidery and couching using various threads and cords; hand embroidery using DMC embroidery threads;

What are you most proud of? I love the techniques I learned and the mixing of colours I would not normally put together in one relatively small piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it!

This is only about 22 x 8 inches when open - much smaller than the fat quarter piece I am still working on from the class. This was my 'test piece'.

Very useful for this class and also in general. I have people with the same machine at my craft group borrowing my 'bible' as they haven't their own.
