What was your inspiration?
I wanted to try a project that challenged my skills, both in sewing techniques and fabric. I chose a plaid that isn't square, so I would have to determine placement of each piece, similar to the green dress that Susan made in the class video.
What are you most proud of?
I learned so many techniques that can be used with every-day sewing. I didn't think I'd like all the hand sewing, but it was relaxing and actually much easier to make lines match.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch the entire class once, then watch each segment as you work on the project.
