Your toile looks lovely, can't wait to see your finished project. May I just ask about your mannequin, is that a fitting toile that you've padded out on it to match you? Its something I've been thinking to try but not sure if it would work.

Thank you so much for the reply, the CD book sounds really interesting, I remember hearing about it ages ago, it had escaped my memory. It sounds really useful and your modified dressform looks great, I'll have to give it a try. Are you signed up for Kenneth's course on here? I love just watching him work, and the same with Susan, they're very inspirational.

thank you so much for sharing your photos - this one and the one with the horsehair in the hem. Today I cut out my muslin and I've been concerned about how the skirl will look and hang. Seeing your muslin made up is encouraging - it looks wonderful!

Susan, I am so excited to be in your on-line class! I would be with you in a live class if I could; this is the next best thing. I am expecting to learn lots! Thank you!

The best part of the online class is that you can view it anytime you can fit it into you schedule. I'm watching it in bits and pieces first before I start on my dress so I can get a visual overview. You can bookmark where you left off and return to that spot. You can watch a segment over and over if you've missed something. Great course!

I am thrilled to be taking this class. Susan K. is easy to listen to and follow--I am watching the videos straight through to get an overview. Then I will go back step by step. Can't decide which pattern to use yet.

Thanks for your advice. I am confused--I thought I was ordering dvd of Susan's classes. Are they online only? I am excited about the class; just will need time to work around schedule and not be rushed.

Also, you can watch the video segments any time you like, as often as you like.
