What materials did you use? Merino wool with silk organza underlining and crepe de chine lining.

What are you most proud of? On the dress, the fit is excellent - maybe the first dress I have made that really fits me nicely. Second, matching the plaid! Busy plaid but it matches perfectly in all but one spot. Third, I persisted to the end of the class. My mode of sewing tends to be hurry up and get it done, which is probably why most don't fit well. I have a new appreciation for taking my time with all the important steps to get a good end product.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Persist and watch the class several times for each step. The end product is worth the extra time and care.

Nice work. I know the hurry up and get it done-feeling. This class is a good exercise to slow down.
