My daughter best friend and her mom asked me to make a quilt for for the new baby in the family

What are you most proud of?

That my lines came out straight on the top stitching

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

find a fabric collection and get creative

It holds up very well -my I use the washable sewers tape to hold it in place and then use a zig zag stich nearly perfect every time

I wondered about using the blanket binding. Not sure if it was washable enough, but I suppose it must be as it goes on baby blankets all the time. You would get more choices of colors than with packaged bias binding. It is a lovely quilt. Nice job

Beautiful and cute at the same time! What a good idea to use classic blanket binding! It gives it a snuggly satiny touch.
