What materials did you use? cotton/silk fabric

What are you most proud of? This blouse just took a week (evenings) sewing, it has a few defects but it is still wearable! Also I had my problems working with silk, it is far more slippery than the cotton I have always used! :-P

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is quite easy to do and I like the blouse - the shape is really original, so go for it!

I don't know where your problems are but it looks good.

This is really beautiful--what a well done job & nice fabric. Was this from your "stash" or a recent purchase? Working with silk would make me a bit hesitant--bravo to you!!!

thank you! it was fabric I bought on summer sale for this blouse - i am just creating a stash right now, I did not have any last year as I just started to sew :-) the fabric is silk and cotton - which makes it much easier to work with and machine washable :-)
