What materials did you use? cotton/silk fabric

What are you most proud of? This blouse just took a week (evenings) sewing, it has a few defects but it is still wearable! Also I had my problems working with silk, it is far more slippery than the cotton I have always used! :-P

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is quite easy to do and I like the blouse - the shape is really original, so go for it!

Your top turned out really nice. It's inspired me to make one as well. Problem is I have to mail order clothing fabric. Selection is next to nothing in my town. (We do shine in quilting cottons though).

you have no idea how I understand you... the only good fabric shop here (from which I bought the fabric for this top) has closed down. So now I need to travel significantly and make "fabric trips" to get something nice.... anyway thanks for the compliments, good luck with yours :-)

It's beautiful. I like the multi but soothing colours, the buttons and the shape. Quite nice. Makes me feel like sewing something.
