What was your inspiration?

I love samplers because they seem doable. Each square is like a small bite of a very LARGE elephant : )

What are you most proud of?

I began this cross stitch in 1989 and completed about 3/4 of it within a few years. Then, life got in the way and I didn't pick it up again until 2010 when I decided it was time to complete the project. This is the FIRST cross stitch I ever completed and framed.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Determine a certain number of stitches you will take each day to avoid letting decades go by before completion.
