A beautiful 100% cotton worsted weight in a soft sage green. I love this yarn because it is so smooth and has a soft luminescence and wonderful drape.
What was your inspiration?
I made this for myself (which doesn't happen very often). I wanted a casual tank to wear in the summer. The way the pattern told me to do the back part of the straps was confusing and were way to short so I decided to change it all up. I made the rope twists and did a woven crisscross. I think it turned out really well. I also did more fitting than the pattern required because the front was really loose. I decreased along the top of the bust line so that it wouldn't sag as well as under the arms.
What are you most proud of?
That the back actually worked!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to customize a project that isn't quite what you want. (Or makes n sense)
