Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Spindling: From Fluff to Stuff »

Category: Spinning

Type of item: Accessory

For: Other

Style: Funky, Casual

Materials

Cotswold/Romney roving purchased on Etsy - shop Artisan Meadows.

What was your inspiration?

Deb Robson's "Know Your Wool" where she talked about small producers and rare sheep. So this sheep aren't rare, but I was really inspired to purchase from a small producer. This seller on Etsy (Artisan Meadows) is a micro-farm in Tennessee.

What are you most proud of?

That I didn't have too much twist so I could keep it as a single!

So smooth!! It looks so soft and silky, I thought it must be bunny fur!! You are really moving along with your spinning! Beautiful job.

Thank you! I have been spinning A LOT! Once I really got the hang of it I became obsessed. I have quite a stash of fiber and of my spun yarns building up!
