What materials did you use? Cotton, batting and flanellette sheet for backing

What are you most proud of? They were very happy with it. They knew that I had put a lot of thought into choosing the fabric. I would have been happier now if it was more structured - but I have a hard time with the structured quilts. So I was thinking more outside the box.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it.

I can be a maverick so I love what you did...beautiful quilt and a lot of thought and love went into it and it shows

I, too, have done the "no pattern" quilt with great outcome. It was a gift and they loved it. I think it's fun once in awhile to think outside the box. Great job (and especially on your second onlyquilt) on your cot quilt

I really don't ever have a plan either except colors picked out. It's more fun that way and they always turn out okay.

I love it! There is so much fun in just starting out and wondering what you will do next.

Well done, really came out tops. you can be proud of yourself, and join the club, I do exactly that, find the fabrics, and just put together. The nicest quilts are done that way.
