Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Mod, Casual

Materials

Cosmic Burst charms, Kona Cotton Neutral, and Lark for the back

What was your inspiration?

The fabrics! I love the bright, bold prints, and thought the random smattering of HST units would be fun.

What are you most proud of?

Tiny HST units, that look pretty perfect! Each HST measures 1 1/2".

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Starch, and take your time, so you can enjoy the process!

Thank you Amy. I kind of thought I would need to do the quilt in sections. i hope to quilt it on my home machine in a quilt as you go kind of format. What did I get myself into??. Course my final units are 4 1/2 " so not soooo tiny as yours. Love that pillow.

love this pillow. Did you just absolutely randomly put the HSTs together or is there some method to this design? I am doing a king size quilt of HSTs with the hopes to have the final design something like this. So far I have some pinwheel units and a couple of rows of straight set HSTs. Love some feedback.

Thanks! I laid out the entire top which was simple to do at 21"- in your case I might layout a few random rows and sew them up, then decide on which rows go where. Have fun!

What a bright, happy design....I love this, and it's a wonderful way to utilize some of my scraps that are tiny, but I hate to toss them!
