Instructions
The instructions on the pattern are incorrect. My afghan was suppose to be 67x67 and it turned out to be 75x75...wow. I didn't think I would ever get done. Also this pattern calls for a lot more yarn than the instructions say. My advice would be to make sure you buy enough yarn to make almost 2 afghans to be on the safe side. What was your inspiration?
My nephew wanted something made from his aunt so I made this for him. He said he wanted me to make him something in Blue! This is what I came up with.
What are you most proud of?
I was most proud that I was able to end this long project. I didn't think I would ever get done with this one. This is the first attempt at doing corner to corner. I thought it came out quite well considering the pattern was wrong on top of everything.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure when you do this pattern, check to see if it has any corrections before starting. I found out the hard way and ended up going and getting more yarn more than once. It will definately be a lot bigger than what the pattern says. But hey, if you want it bigger then it is not a problem.
