Drab to Fab gave me the courage to give refinishing this a try!

What are you most proud of?

Finishing a chair that is so unique and pretty enough to proudly place in my living room!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just give it a try - what is the worst that can happen?! Take Drab to Fab class. . . . I learned so much. Anne Maria is an amazing teacher.

The worst that could happen is that you ruin a true antique. This is a respected 18th C design, so before removing the finish, one should really consult a qualified ethical professional as to the chair's value. And never ever sell to such a consultant!
