I downloaded scrap attack star from free patterns, removed a couple of lines and instead of sewing it together to form a star used each block as a corner stone. Then to work out the width of the stripe measured the edge of the block. Hope this saves a bit of time Desna.

Yeah!!!! Thanks so much for posting this, and it looks super. Although it looks very difficult to achieve, but I will still have a go at this as I love it so much.
