I have a question - not about this course, but about making a unstructured jacket for a male friend. I have some questions about how to ensure that there is no see through. I am using off white linen. I also want to know if I should have the fabric pre-dry cleaned before cutting out the garment. I want to interline it to prevent see-through and also to decrease the wrinkling. By the way my friend is a black man, what colour interlining would I use? Thanks, CherylJune

Interling lies between the lining and the fashion fabric, so usually it's never seen. If the off-white linen is see-thru, try a cream or warm white shade. Can't answer re: dry-cleaning, don't use it much. Good luck.

If you're just making a lining, then use a color close to his skin tone.
