Amazing!! So you made some faux malachite, then placed your purchased glass stone over? Do you think the same effect could be obtained with resin?

Absolutely! Not sure about wrapping the leaves around it after the resin cures, only because I've never tried. My only question would be wheather or not the clay would adhere to the resin after the resin is cured, like the resin adheres to the clay. It's sure worth a small test I'd think. But the faux malacite with resin over would be lovely, I love the way the resin magnifies what underneath it. It really shows off the detail. I haven't done any resin lately because I don't have a UV light & we've had a bit of cloudy weather lately, but I have a tutorial in mind that will include some resin...if I can get it done! lol

I cure resin with a strong halogen desk lamp. It may take longer, but it works. It's 58 and rainy today in Missouri, and I am curing some right now.

Great tip...I will have to try this, weather here today is just about that, a cool rain. So I guess I'll practice embossing or stamping on some clay today instead, if you have any advice I'd love to hear it. My first love was papercraft but I've been out of the loop for years so all of these new products are new to me.
