What was your inspiration?

The pendant and the braided beads are very much inspired by Perri Jackson's wonderful work. The idea of using Right Angle Weave for the bezel comes from her bead and woven wire bezels:

the band of her Blue Heaven ring:

Scalloped edges are signature signs of a lot of her pieces. I first learned how to make them from her wonderful Rose of Sharon Pendant Tutorial:http://www.etsy.com/listing/112055690/holiday-sale-rose-of-sharon-coiled?
The braided bead was inspired by her gorgeous Braided Saturn bead (http://www.flickr.com/photos/perri_jackson/3192770517/).
The first time I saw the Square Knot links was on the wigjig website. But I make them with pliers, not a jig.
A friend from the US sent me patterned wire called Whim-Z which looks really cool. I used it for the beadcaps and the links and really like the combination of the patterned and the smooth wire.

What are you most proud of?

The coiled/beaded beads are very much inspired by Perri's fantastic "Braided Saturn" bead (on her Flickr page). They are the elements I love the most.

Thank you, zivastrukelj! Labradorite is one of my all-time-favorites, and this one had such a beautiful flash. But there wasn't su much patience necessary. The bezel is basically an embellished RAW stitch (right angle weave) and the coiled beadcaps are quite easy (and fast) to make. The coiled beads needed some practice, though, and they are perhaps the elements that I love the most in this piece. :D

Hi Heike, this is soooo beautiful and so much work and patience involved. I love everything about this piece, and labradorite I think is my favorite gemstone at the moment.
