What was your inspiration?
This was made for my boyfriend. He lives in Texas, his children live in Colorado and Oregon. I wanted to make him something to represent his 'family'.
What are you most proud of?
The way the lettering came out on the names...I created the design. Although I didn't take a picture of the final project, I handquilted the entire quilt with hearts.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are going to incorporate counted cross stitch in a picture you need to make sure you have tied off all the knots really well. I would also suggest you use a serger to sew it together.
