Fabric Panel, Buttons, & Embroidered Tote
What was your inspiration?
Saw this great fabric panel and decided to use it for the christmas fundraiser for the Kids with Cancer. I can picture a young boy with his toy cars and trucks following the road layout. We purchased a large semi with equipment on the back trailer and put into an embroidered tote to make it easier to carry everything.
What are you most proud of?
The ladies having so much fun sewing the little buttons on and how proud they where of the quilt. I was proud of how well the embroidered bull dozer turned out. Boy, its got me thinking now.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a project that can be hand sewn or quilted. I did a combination of quilting along both sides of the road and then the ladies hand sewed on the buttons. The most fun will be finding the buttons or other embellishments that you may want to put on the quilt.
