What was your inspiration?
I read an article in Flea Market Style magazine about a family home. There was a lovely table featured, with distressed paintwork. The table would be ideal for our new lobby, now where could I find something like that, with a price tag that wouldn't bust the budget?
What are you most proud of?
The fact I was able to create a beautiful piece of custom furniture to meet our needs at next to no cost!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Give it a go! The construct was basically cutting the boards to size then screwing them together. The painting and sanding was very therapeutic!
