What was your inspiration?
Connor! I thought his dad would appreciate a "manly" afghan to use with his new baby. Dad is a Bears fan so orange and blue it was.
What are you most proud of?
How well the pattern worked out and the fact that my brother in law now knows what crochet and afgans are!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just follow the pattern - this one seemed to go quickly after you get the hang of it. (If you are interested in the tennis shoe booties - I found the pattern online for free by typing in free crocheted baby booties)
