What materials did you use? cotton fabric and thread

What are you most proud of? I really enjoy "thread painting" so I did a bit on the centre of the flower

What advice would you give someone starting this project? the project is very straight forward, you need to be careful to get smooth curves on your applique pieces, mine are a bit jagged

Whooo hooo.... thanks for posting your finished coneflower... Love the pieced background you chose to do and your thread embellishing.! the freezer paper glue basting takes a bit of practice to get the technique under your belt.... now you are ready for more pictorial quilts!
