All cotton fabrics

What was your inspiration?

I followed the pattern recomended by Wendy Butler Berns on her Craftsy course: Pictoral Quilts with machine applique.

What are you most proud of?

That I finished it!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Stick to the methods Wendy is teaching, you can encorporate your own ways of working at a later date. The more methods we learn the better.

Great choice of fabrics... the light minty lime greens really pops the design.

Wow very nice, was it hard and how long did it take you to complete? I like the simplicity of the flowers and the colors in the background complement the quilt. Great job!!!

Thanks. It was not difficult, just a matter of learning a new method, then off it went and was finished quite quickly.

Applique is my weakness. Love the bright flower against the lovely blue sky!

Thanks for your compliments. Applique just takes practice and finding a method you enjoy.
