What materials did you use? As specified in Pictoral Quilting material list. However, I did add yarn around the "cone" and a machine embroidered butterfly.

What are you most proud of? I tried free-motion quilting. The sky is where I did it. I will do better next time but this is the first time I have had the nerve to try it on a piece that I invested a lot of time on. The remainer of the quilting was accomplished with decorative machine stitches. I added a machine embroidered butterfly to add a little more color to the piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do it! It is doable by a novice. I am now ready to tackle a couple photos I took at Alcatraz. Most interesting buildings and now I know how!

Nicely done. This is one of the projects I have waiting in the wings. I love the added yarn around the cone. Faye1

Thanks. I just felt it looked so plain without a little something extra!
