Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? camera, props (aka buttons and flowers)

What are you most proud of? I tried to line the buttons up along the horizontal and vertical thirds lines and yet I like that photo least. Then I took one of that setup from a different angle to purposely break the rule of thirds and I like that one much more (go figure) But my favorite is definitely the one with the buttons flipped and piled and a bit random. It looks much more natural AND the buttons are in the lower third of the frame.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I took a TON of photos of these buttons. I scattered them about 4 different ways and took lots of pictures of each angle. I had some that were too random, some that were too orderly. It's way harder to get that natural looking shot than it seems like it should be.
