I love your colors! And I also love that you are trying some things outside your "comfort zone" - good job!

I lost some of my points trying to square it up. But I have done better than I have ever before with paper piecing. I usually don't have enough fabric to cover areas but the instructions were so clear (even though I put some fabrics the wrong way and spent ages undoing) and the arrows certainly helped me. And yes, I went the wrong way too. The completed top is certainly stretchy but hopefully by the time I pin and quilt it will be ok. This small quilt is not for any special thing but I just thought I might send it to my mother for a cat :) Maybe see my improvement over time! I can't wait until the NY beauties that I have wanted to do for a long time. I am a quilter of a few years and at the moment am making a Baltimore Album quilt. I love had sewing so the machine is not a comfortable tools for me. But maybe I will become an expert in Paper Piecing!!
