Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Casual

What was your inspiration?

Amy Gibson's 2012 BOM class!

What are you most proud of?

That I made a special quilt for my nephew and his new bride!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't worry about the little things! People will only notice a small imperfection in your quilt if you point it out to them. Otherwise it was meant to be that way! Those little mistakes are what make your quilt unique! Have fun with it!

What words of wisdom (about the little imperfections) - and what a pretty quilt! Your nephew and his bride are going to be SO pleased!

Thank you very much! I As a matter of fact they love it! One of the 3 photos is of the bride snuggling with it.

Love the Color pallette! I especially love the Dresden plate, that would be beutiflul for a full quilt.

Thank You! That happens to be the Bride's favorite block of the whole quilt! I plan on making one with just dresdens on it when I finish the projects I am currently working on.
