I felt it was too expensive to order vinyl stencils and have them shipped here, so I found a design I liked on iStockphoto and made my own stencil.

What was your inspiration?

I had this large, wonderful chest of drawers, but it needed some sparkle. Also, I wanted to tie this piece in with my silver leaf bedside tables (check out my other project). Silver leafing the entire piece would be over the top, so I thought about adding a floral or vine design to the front of the drawers.
