How do I get this pattern. It implies it's free but from the posts I think not. I can't even find it under the designers website?

In the book: "The Romance of the Patchwork Quilt in America", the authors, Carrie A. Hall and Rose G. Kretsinger, tell of the origin of the "swastika". This "design" was given a bad rap during WWII. It was originally a symbol of friendship called the "Friendship Knot". According to the authors, it is also called: "The Pure Symbol of Right Doctrine"; "Heart's Seal"; "Chinese 10,000 Perfections"; "Favorite of the Peruvians"; "The Battle Ax of Thor"; "Mound Builders", "Catch-Me-If-You-Can"; and "Wind Power of the Osages". They go on to say: "If you are charmed by a piece of Indian pottery or a blanket of Indian design, you will enjoy making a quilt from either of these designs [there were 2 interpretations of this design in their book], which go farther back than the American Indian for their origin. These were favorite motifs of the early Egyptians.

Simply charming quilt and so easy for beginners. Great spin off the log cabin technique. I have never used patterns other than the templates and notebook my grandmother kept with hers but an glad there are free ones out there to spark the quilting bug in others..

I am new to craftsy and unfamiliar with the sign up for free patterns. I have never offered this pattern for free. I sell it thru my Etsy shop and many retail stores worldwide. If someone is offering this pattern for free I would like to know who that is.
