Cake mix, Swiss Buttercream, fondant and food color paints. I used techniques I learned in Modern Buttercram and The Hand Painted Cake
What was your inspiration?
Travel. The cakes are Birthday cakes for my husband who loves Spain and my Son-in-law who studied baking in France.
What are you most proud of?
The Buttercream which is so delicious. Plus, I free hand painted the images.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Relax and have fun with it. Don't get hung up on perfection, they are going to get eaten anyway.
