What materials did you use? quilting cotton

What are you most proud of? I sampled every fabric in my stash and included all but about 10 fabrics in my wheel. The fact that I was able to sort the fabrics into 16 reasonably distinct hues gave me great satisfaction. It took hours of pondering to do this but I have learned so-o-o-o much about colour in the process. Oh yes, I also saved a 2x4 piece of each fabric and stuck these to cardstock so I have quite a collection that I can use when shopping for fabric.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you want to learn about colour, you should make a colour wheel out of fabric.

I like your idea of using black around the circle and making it a two-sided quilt! Please post a picture of the finished quilt! It is gorgeous!
