What was your inspiration?
A lot of long, narrow scraps in the chuch group donations just shouted "string quilt" to me. Most of the other ladies in the group preferred to work with larger squares, so I took as many solid color strips as I could and added the rest from my own stash.
What are you most proud of?
The finished quilt was donated to Lutheran World Relief. Usually I just make and the quilt top and let the other ladies finish the quilt, but I quilted this one myself, a major task on my short bed home machine with a quilt this large (60x80).
