What are you most proud of? I love the fact that for just pennies, I created some beautiful book covers.

Is there a reason for using folded strips or could you just use flat strips of paper? I have done a few of these designs for cards and a couple of photos this way and the folded strips get so bulky to deal with.

You could do it that way, but I like the finished edge of the folds.

Thanks for replying to my comment about using flat strips instead of folded ones, Suzy. I guess the secret is to get them folded very flat and use just strips when the bulk is too much. You can adjust according to the type of project. For those who haven't tried doing this, it is really fun and feels very creative. Using it with photos adds real dimension to a favorite photo. Give it a try!

The layout reminds of foundation piecing in quilting. Beautiful work!!
