What was your inspiration?

I wanted to try a pair of jeans, so I made them for my daughter who is easier to fit than myself.

What are you most proud of?

The pocket top stitching and fly zipper both turned out well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid of rivets and jeans buttons. I'm glad that JoAnns carries these notions now. I extended the pocket into the center front to create a stay, other wise no changes to the pattern.

Thanks, I was lucky, I just made the pattern exactly in size 6 and shortened them a bit. I like sewing for tiny people like you!

I have been sewing since I was a girl. I teach clothing construction, and that helps me get better, trying to keep ahead of my students. Thanks for your positive comments!
