Instructions

Followed the directions from the class. I took my time and ended up with 124 different colors total in my spectra. It was amazing to watch the subtle changes in the color as I progressed through the exercise. Now when I see colors, I am seeing them in a whole new way.

Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic paints in Medium Magenta, Brilliant Blue and Cadmium Yellow Light on construction paper

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time with adding new color to really get an idea of the subtle color changes.

Very beautiful. I love the way your color strata turned out. It is so fluid. It would make a stunning quilt!

Congratulations! Your strata is stunning. It's very beautiful. Your color wheel looks very good too. With your painting, I am sure you can see so much more easily how colors are made and how they change. Great job!
