What was your inspiration?

I am working on some blocks to illustrate color theory for my class in a couple weeks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Paper piecing is fun and easy, I use scotch tape instead of pins...makes things more accurate.

Those look great and I love the color theory theme. What a fun pattern and great idea for your class. I have enjoyed the little paper piecing I have done and hope to do more.

There are so many good books on the subject, check out your library...and you can get great patterns right off the web you might try Carol Doaks site http://www.caroldoak.com/free-quilt-patterns.php
