What was your inspiration?
I saw this pattern and examples at a quilt show and they were just too cute to pass up. So I got the pattern, a frame, some fabric and batting all at the quilt show...went back to the hotel room and hand sewed my first one. (The one in the center back) then there was no stopping me!
What are you most proud of?
That other people actually like them! I must be doing something right. :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have patience sewing the frame to the 'pouch' you're blind pushing the needle through to the front. The front to back is easy peasy! - I started using 'invisible thread' too - that makes it a little more challenging, but less noticeable and stronger!
FYI - This particular pattern makes three different Coin Pouches - 2 Small (a round and a rectangular frame) and a little larger one (round frame only)
!!!PURCHASING INFORMATION HERE!!!

You can also call and order them from Red Hen Fabrics. They also carry the handles.
