What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have patience sewing the frame to the 'pouch' you're blind pushing the needle through to the front. The front to back is easy peasy! - I started using 'invisible thread' too - that makes it a little more challenging, but less noticeable and stronger! FYI - This particular pattern makes three different Coin Pouches - 2 Small (a round and a rectangular frame) and a little larger one (round frame only) !!!PURCHASING INFORMATION HERE!!! Once you are on the http://www.quiltplus.net website: go to Online Store, and Search for A024. This is the pattern I used. The frames are numbered: Rectangular shape: 50 (500), Round shape: 60 (600) & Round shape: 61 (610) (keychain version is in parents) You can also call and order them from Red Hen Fabrics. They also carry the handles.

Could I order some of these little change purses?

this is my first time getting into online discussions and I am loving it. I have been a sewer and crafter for 60 years and i am more excited about working with fabric now than i was when i was 5 and Mommy taught me on her tredle. I have several girl friends that I have know a long time but none of my girls likes to sew and so it has been just me with my dogs and cats for inspiration. I also do live remotely and don't get out too much which is ok but it is always thrilling to find someone with the same interest to jaw with and learn new tricks and share frustrations. I love this technology that makes all this possible.
