What was your inspiration?
My SO is a fishing guide. I'm hoping this will be good for getting the fish smell off. I garden and work outside, so need a good scrubber type soap that won't destroy my skin.
What are you most proud of?
All my soaps feel wonderful and are so moisturizing. A couple days after cutting and this is smelling good! Yay!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Alia assures me the funky coffee lye smell goes away. I have faith! Be prepared if you make this for an amazingly nasty stench when you combine the coffee and lye, and it gets worse when you add the lye solution to the oils. But the smell seems to dissapate. Can't wait to see how this works for fishy or grimy hands.
