What are you most proud of? I love how colorful and fun it turned out. And that I saved an orphan ( quilt block), and my coffee sleeve may contribute to saving the planet! (well probably not, but I love the concept).

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be generous measuring so that you have enough over-lap to go around your cup. I just used a sleeve (that was on a chai cup I purchased) as the pattern. Instead of adding seam allowances and turning it right-side out I just cut the back piece larger so I could bind the edges to the front. Be creative. :D

Great idea for orphans - and using that insulated batting will keep hot drinks hotter, cold colder. Batting scraps can be seam-butted and zigzagged together (or you could use that pricer fusible tape for batting). Also, maybe you could use that singed pot holder as a batting? Leftover gripper-type shelf liner makes a good, safe bottom if you decide to add a circular bottom. But maybe you're not as accident-prone as I am! Thanks for the idea-

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you like it. oh I think I'm probably as accident-prone! I took the sleeve to work today, so I'm testing it out. still need to find my roll of hook & loop tape! straight pins only work on EMPTY cups! :D lol
